Description
We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
There’s no more famous sign of Spring in our parts than the distinctive sound of the Northern Spring Peeper (Pseudacris crucifer crucifer Wied). Tonight, we will learn a bit about these nocturnal noise makers…behaviors, life-cycle, and other tidbits. But have you ever seen one?! The rest of the night, we will attempt to lay eyes on one. The first time I saw one, I was amazed (it wasn’t where I expected it to be)…and to see one takes stealth and patience. Are you up for it? Meet in the lobby of Atlantica, Oak Island. Please register in advance. Bring a flashlight, waterproof footwear, dress for being still outside.
