We are excited to be back for another basketball season here at BASIS Independent Manhattan and continuing to grow immensely with our competitive team, under the leadership of our very own coach Peterson! “My goal as a coach is to develop skills, knowledge of rules, strategy, and teamwork, as well as the importance of winning and losing gracefully. It does not matter where you in terms of skill level and knowledge, everyone is welcome and will be given the tools and directions to progress and improve.” Grades 6–8 can participate in our competitive basketball team with the CONSAT league. CONSAT games are scheduled during the winter season and will be announced closer to scheduled game dates. All Grades will hold practice together. However, only grades 6–8 are eligible for CONSAT league. As the season schedule is released, we will post game information on parent square and via email. Registration covers transportation to and from games, uniforms, CONSAT fees, snacks, and any other costs that may accrue in the season. Players will be issued uniforms on loan, which must be returned at the end of the season to register for other sports programs. Failure to return uniforms will result in a replacement fee. It is a beautiful year to be a wildcat!
