If you have been diagnosed with prediabetes, or are at risk of developing diabetes and need help preventing Type 2 Diabetes, this program is the one for you! Join the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension DPP program and learn how to eat healthy, add physical activity to your life, manage stress and stay motivated. Program uses the Prevent T2 curriculum developed by the CDC. Requirement is that a participant cannot have a diagnosis of diabetes already. Classes meet on weekly basis first 2 months, biweekly for the next 4 months, and once a week for the last 6 months of the program.
