Description
Join a Carson City Park Ranger for an educational walk all about the coyotes! While enjoying a walk along the Carson River from Silver Saddle Ranch, you will get to learn everything about coyotes from identification to their habits and culture. If you have been afraid of coyotes while hiking in this area, this is the walk for you!
Meet at the Silver Saddle Ranch parking lot and come prepared with layers, water, closed-toe shoes, and an excitement for our coyote friends! The hike will be roughly 2 miles over flat terrain with a trail rating of "easy". This hike will be fall during sunset hours, so also bring flashlights strong enough to catch the glow of coyote eyes.
