About this event
Spend the week on the coast of the lagoon of Agua Hedionda Lagoon, kayaking, paddleboarding and pedal boating around. With the help of YMCA staff and lifeguards, you’ll gain confidence on the water while Girl Scout staff give you all the tools to be prepared for a Thursday night overnight with your new camp friends. Earn the Athlete badge. Day Camp Aides (DCAs) and Counselors-in-Training (CITs) are teen mentors that help lead activities and guide younger campers. Current training is required for all teen mentors. DCAs and CITs participate in most activities but spend a significant amount of each day assisting younger campers.
