We have secured the coveted morning slot for the park!!
Grab your super suit & cape, and come on out with us for Express Your SuperPower 5K/10K! Awesome flat & fast course completely inside Etowah River Park in Canton, so the little super heroes won't have to run on the street. We'll have the Tot Trot at 8 AM, Fun Run at 8:05 AM & then the 5K/10K starting at 8:30 AM. We'll have some awesome awards for the Overall M/F, Masters Overall M/F, & top 3 in all the regular age groups. Runners & Walkers are both welcome. Great race shirts & some items to everyone pre-registered!

Event Beneficiary
Northwest Georgia Breastfeeding Coalition and Georgia Breastfeeding Coalition present the 8th Annual 5K/10K on September 30, 2023. Proceeds of this event will go to both coalitions in celebration of World Breastfeeding Week 2022 with the theme "Step Up for Breastfeeding: Educate and Support".
This race raises funds to help coordinate the global World Breastfeeding Week campaign that aims to inform, anchor, engage, and galvanize action on breastfeeding and related issues. In the end, our breastfeeding families are given the resources and support they need to make informed decisions on promoting the health of their children.

The event will be chip timed, and we'll have awards in the following Categories:

- Top 3 finishers in all the normal 5yr age groups starting at 10 & under through 80+.
Participants registered by 9/13 are guaranteed a shirt in their size. Afterwards, they'll be while supplies last.

Course & Timing
Awesome super flat CERTIFIED course through Etowah River Park & Heritage Park using the paved trail and the walking bridge that connects them. We'll be chip timing the start & finish, so you're guaranteed to get a great time you can use for the Peachtree.

Get out there and run or walk! You can run at the park, your favorite route in your neighborhood; anywhere you want. Please remember to social distance & be safe!

All participants will automatically qualify for (1) FREE entry into one of the 2023 Five Star Thanksgiving Turkey Trots. See event website.
Top finishers will also have the opportunity to earn a spot in the Championships held in January 2024. The number of spots available is based on the total registration.see event website

Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike
conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.
Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.
No COVID-19 Refunds. If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided. The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
