DATES: Jun 1, 8, 15, 22 Instructor: Kat Sours In this class, you’ll learn how to create your own bioplastics and how to apply them using embellishment and embroidery techniques. Over the course of this class, you will acquire a knowledge of bioplastic materials: what they are, how to make them and what their ecological impact is. This course will also demonstrate embroidery and embellishment techniques. You will come away from this course with your own bio-embellished textiles. -- Our classes are designed to focus on a learned skill rather than a final product. At TAC, our mission is to provide skills and knowledge for a lifetime! All materials for sample making and learning the technique are included. Any additional materials will need to be supplied by the student based on their vision. 4 Week students have access to Open Studio time for free during the class and for up to a week after the class to put their new knowledge to practice.
