IMPROVE YOUR DEFENSIVE SHOOTING SKILLS Defensive Shooting Fundamentals will guide you through the steps you'll need to take to go from just sending rounds downrange to actually training in specific, tested methods of armed self-defense. From stance to grip to physical shooting technique, Defensive Shooting Fundamentals Level 1 will help you hone the edge on your inner warrior expert. You'll get your body working with your gun instead of against it, you'll learn which intuitive skills work best with what your body will naturally do while under stress in a combat situation, and you'll learn to apply this information simply and effectively - regardless of your skill level. In this instructor-led course, you’re training for what could really happen and gaining the skills needed to survive a life-threatening attack. The fundamentals learned here can help to guide your mental and physical responses in a real-life self-defense situation. This class is the foundation of armed self-defense training. Whether you want to reliably put rounds on target, or you’re building your skills for rapid acquisition and engagement of multiple targets in a real-world scenario, you will find these skills and more in Defensive Shooting Fundamentals. You'll become appropriately confident in your ability through realistic practice and evaluation. Being over- or under-confident in your defensive shooting ability can be costly. This is part 1 of Trained Ready & Armed 2 part defensive shooting fundamentals. Students will need to bring 300 rounds of pistol ammunition, eye protection, hearing protection, a baseball style cap, and note taking material.
