In this intermediate watercolor class, we will explore how to turn photographs and memories into paintings, whether they’re from a walk around the corner, a favorite place, or a special trip. We’ll look at composition, foreground, middle ground, and background, and explore ways to paint nature, buildings, and other subjects that catch your eye. Instructor Jennifer Mazzucco will provide tips on choosing photos, creating a simple portable watercolor kit, and adapting your reference images for painting, along with watercolor techniques and examples from her own adventures.
