This is a multi-week workshop designed for beginners looking to learn the fundamentals of sewing by hand. Learn how to use standard sewing kit supplies and familiarize yourself with sewing terminology. Classes will be spent introducing and practicing basic techniques and learning how to assess damaged areas to find suitable fixes. By the end of the four weeks students will have developed the basics for mending common wear and tear in loved garments as well as understanding simple ways to add personalized touches and embellishments. No experience necessary, all are welcome!
