This class will explore alternative and unconventional variations on the traditional vase. For example, what if the vase was much wider than it is tall, had multiple openings, or did not sit on the table but instead hung on the wall? We will be primarily utilizing handbuilding techniques in this class, though one or two demonstrations will show variations of techniques using the wheel. This is an advanced beginner or intermediate level class best suited for those who either have some handbuilding or wheel throwing experience.  Pre-requisite: Must have taken one ceramics class. No class 3/22 Clay must be purchased at the Studio. Clay is $15-$35 for a 25 lb bag depending on clay body. We also sell tools kits at the Studio and the prices range from $10-$30.
