Whether you're picking up a paintbrush for the first time or looking to refine your skills, this course offers step-by-step instruction in a relaxed and encouraging environment. You'll learn the fundamentals of watercolor painting, including washes, brush techniques, color mixing, the color wheel, and how to choose the right paper, brushes, and paints. As your confidence grows, Mike will introduce more advanced techniques and expressive styles to help you develop your own artistic voice. No drawing experience is required. Each class features a new painting project, and you'll complete a finished watercolor suitable for matting, framing, or gifting. Along the way, you'll build skills, explore your creativity, and gain a deeper appreciation for this rewarding medium.
