Saturday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM • 1 weeks MDI High School Instructor: Mike Duffy Capture the quiet beauty of the Maine winter season in this fun, hands-on workshop led by lifelong artist and educator Mike Duffy. Inspired by snowy landscapes, evergreens, winter wildlife, and the cozy spirit of late autumn turning toward winter, participants will create a seasonal art project while exploring artistic techniques in a welcoming, supportive environment. Mike has spent more than 25 years teaching art to students of all ages across Mount Desert Island. While he works in a variety of artistic mediums, he is especially renowned for his expressive watercolor paintings. Drawing on decades of teaching experience, Mike makes the creative process approachable and enjoyable for artists of all skill levels. -- Whether you're picking up a paintbrush for the first time or looking to expand your artistic skills, this one-day workshop offers a wonderful opportunity to create a beautiful winter-themed piece to display throughout the season while enjoying a morning of creativity and community.
