MATH: Algebra I - Review This course is intended to review and practice foundational skills and concepts found in general Algebra I courses. Students will receive review instruction with the opportunity for guided practice and exploration on the topics listed below. ● algebraic variables, polynomial expressions and simplifying ● equation solving and variable isolation ● linear equations (two variables) - slope/coordinate graphing ● solving systems of equations ● word problems - distance/rate/time, others as needed ● polynomial operations and factoring Reasonable homework assignments may be given to maximize practice. If you have any questions before or after registering, please feel free to contact Adam Herb (aherb@gilman.edu). Coed, entering grades 7 - 10 (If a student entering grade 6 or 10 would like to attend, please contact the instructor first.)
