About this event
Register for two hour time slots to sew at the Easy Going Sewing Studio. This is time for you to sew with help from a sewing instructor. Four spots open per two hour time slot. An instructor will be there to offer guidance and fitting help as you work on your chosen project. THIS IS NOT A "LEARN TO SEW" CLASS. Studio time is for students who already have the skills learned in sewing 101-103 (threading a machine, spinning an bobbin, sewing in a straight line, pinning and cutting, etc) and are ready to sew using a commercial sewing pattern. An instructor will be there to offer guidance, teach techniques, answer questions, etc. You MUST bring your own fabric, pattern, thread, interfacing, buttons, zippers, etc. You may bring your own sewing tools (scissors, seam gauge, pins, etc.) or use ours. We RECOMMEND you call or email before class to discuss appropriate projects for your skill level and to obtain guidance on shopping for your materials. Sewing machines and sergers are included in the cost of this class, but you may bring your own sewing machine and/or serger.
