About this event
Running club will meet for 10 weeks on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30pm and all experience levels are welcome. Club will not meet on April 16 due to Spring Break. We include Games & Activities; Incentives & Awards; Fun, Fitness & Friendships; End of Season Party; and a T-shirt. Club members will have the opportunity to run in a local race* with a partner and other running club member. Running practices will consist of the following: • Run Discussion • Lap tracking + Shoe Collection • Run Specific Drill/Exercise • Logging Some Laps • Cooldown • Weekly Training Schedule sent home with runners Space is limited to the first 25 registrants and registration is non-refundable/non-transferable. * Fitwize Running Club members are invited to join us in the Run the Greenway 5k/10k/Fun Run on May 4. Participants need to register for this race separately (www.dullesgreenway.com/registration); the race registration fee is not included in the Fitwize Running Club registration (race is not mandatory to be a participant of the club). Please be sure your child has a running buddy prior to signing up for the race.
