Not recommended for adults over 6'2" and 200lbs. Must be physically capable of pulling oneself into a capsized boat. This class is held on four consecutive weeknights,... Class is taught in the Zest or Feva. Focus is on fundamental dinghy sailing including terminology, rigging, knots, equipment care/stowage, points of sail, boat handling, racing right-of-way rules, safety, and capsize procedures. Four Weeknights: 5:30-8:00PM Cost: $265 Non-Member / $225 /EYC Member / $65 Drop In session (Must be physically capable to pull oneself-back into a capsized boat) Dates are currently being determined based off of demand, please contact waterfront@eastportyc.org with your interest.
