Description
Grades 2nd-3rd. Join us for an upbeat skill-building program designed for children already playing Rec & Ed soccer or those wanting to get a little better at soccer before joining a league. Developing soccer skills gives players confidence and allows them to understand how they can positively contribute to their team no matter what position they're playing.
The types of skills that will be covered during this training: body work and positioning, ball handling and dribbling, passing skills and form for short, medium, and long passing, goalie skills and goalie concepts, off the ball movement, spatial awareness, shooting and finishing, and fitness. Each new skill will build on skills learned in a previous week.
Soccer is a game that can be played by everyone, and this training will help unlock your child's greatest potential! What to bring: Cleats (and regular running shoes in case training is held indoors) and a pre-filled water bottle. Instructor: G-Powers Training staff. 6 classes. No class 6/25.
Online registration closes at 12 noon two days before the class begins. To register after online registration has closed (depending on class availability), please call 734-994-2300 ext. 0.
