The last meeting was Monday, November 13, 2023.This class is perfect for beginners interested in designing their own handmade jewelry using basic metalsmithing techniques. Students with previous experience may also join to continue refining their techniques and work towards developing their own personal style.
All participants must be 18 or older.The A2AC does not make exceptions to the age minimum for any reason.
View Supply ListNew students will need to purchase a jewelry tools and materials kit for $45, available at the first class session. Additional materials may be required depending on your design ideas. Please bring a sketchbook and pencil to the first class.
No refunds, pro-ration, or make-up sessions will be provided due to missed class sessions for any reason, including illness and unexpected life events.
Independent Studio Hours
This class includes 26 hours of Independent Jewelry Studio time outside of class. These hours are non-transferable and expire at the end of the term.

The A2AC reserves the right to update, alter, or cancel Independent Studio hours, policies, or procedures at any time and for any reason.
Independent Studio hours are subject to the availability of a studio monitor.
In the event that Independent Studio hours are for any reason canceled, including a change in monitor availability, students will be notified via e-mail. Be sure to check your spam filter or promotions folder for updates.
The A2AC does not provide make-up hours or pro-ration for unused Independent Studio hours or for cancelled hours due to inclement weather, studio monitor availability, or any other reason.

Non-Refundable Deposit10% of tuition for classes and workshops is considered a non-refundable deposit.

Cancellations UP TO 5 days before the start of a class or workshop:A full refund will be issued minus the 10% non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations WITHIN 5 days before the start of a class or workshop:No refunds will be issued for any reason, including illness.

Student AbsencesFor the best experience, we encourage students to attend class on time and regularly.We do not provide make-up classes or additional instruction outside of class.

Waitlist PolicyFor those who have joined a waitlist for a class: If space becomes available in a given class, we will e-mail a registration link to EVERYONE who is on that waitlist and the first person to register will receive the space.
If you you receive a notification that a space has come available and click on the registration link and the class is already full, this means someone else on the waitlist already registered for the space and there are no additional spaces available. If another space opens, we will repeat the process.
Vaccinations and masks are encouraged, but not required for students attending classes. The A2AC reserves the right to update this policy at any time during the term in response to changing circumstances.
