Description
Grades: 8th - Adult. Colored Pencil is a simple and versatile medium. It can be used to replica the look of oils, acrylics, watercolor and more. You can capture fine detail and keep a great deal of control. In this four-week class we will be going over techniques used with colored pencils as well as strokes, shading, blending, layering and more. Each class you will put the techniques and styles you learned by creating your own work of art in colored pencil. Instructor: Nancy Lybrink. 4 classes.

Colored pencils
Recommended- Prismacolor or Derwent
Bristol Paper
Good paper is 300 Series Bristol Strathmore
Weight: 100 lb. Surface: Vellum
Colored Pencil Paper or Mixed Media Paper both by Strathmore are also good choices
Kneaded eraser
Handheld pencil sharpener
Blending stump
Sandpaper pad
Colorless Blender
Optional:
Drafting brush
X-acto Knife or box cutter
