Join master shadow puppeteer Matt Sandbank for a delightfully spooky day of creativity, storytelling, and shadow magic! In this hands-on workshop, students in grades 4–5 will design and create their own Halloween-themed shadow puppets, bring their characters to life, and work together to create a short shadow theater performance showcase. Along the way, participants will explore the art of visual storytelling, imagination, and performance while learning techniques used by professional shadow puppeteers. The day will conclude with a showcase performance for family and friends, followed by a special shadow puppet presentation by Matt Sandbank himself. There will be a one hour lunch break from 12 - 1 PM. Lunch will be provided.
