The Golden Wheels senior transportation program has been created to provide a safe and affordable transportation option to Yucaipa residents age 55 + with disabilities. The program consists of one van and provides curb-to-curb transportation within the geographic boundaries of the City of Yucaipa. The van will pick passengers up at the curb by their home or senior apartment complex (Point A) and transport them to their pre-approved destination within the city limits of Yucaipa (Point B). Passengers are later picked up at Point B and returned to Point A if requested.
The Golden Wheels hub is located at the Scherer Community Center, located at 12202 First St. Yucaipa, CA 92399. Facility hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.When
