This class teaches students how to paint a realistic yet expressive owl using fluid watercolor techniques. Participants will learn to balance soft, wet-on-wet background textures with sharp, detailed brushwork for the feathers and eyes. Learning objectives: *Master Textures - Control water ratios to create soft, fluffy down feathers. *Layering Colors - Build depth in the plumage using glazing techniques. *Focal Points - Use precise brushwork to make the eyes look lumnous and alive. *Negative Space - Paint a atmospheric night background that makes the owl pop.
