Signing up for “Seize the Day!” provides you with an opportunity to be notified when pop-up programs are created based on ideal conditions. Sometimes nature just does not cooperate, and it is difficult to predict natural phenomena ahead of time. If you are interested in going snowshoeing or skiing this winter, or going on a spring hike to learn about wildflowers, migratory birds, woodcock mating dances, frogs calling, prescribed burns, or other topics, sign up for Seize the Day! To secure your name on the “Seize the Day!” notification list, visit http://www.MCCDistrict.org to create an account if you do not already have one, and register for “Seize the Day!”, code: 9864. Those who have signed up for “Seize the Day!” will be contacted via email and text 24-48 hours in advance when these opportunities arise, to ensure that we can show off the nature that we want to show you. If you want to join us, just show up! Information provided via email and text will include the location of the pop-up program, time of the program, and date of the program.
