The concealed carry course meets the requirements to be eligible to receive a North Carolina concealed handgun permit. It is an all-day course with 8 hours of classroom training to include the following topics: Legal Issues Escalation of Force Reciprocity Handgun Safety Different types of Handguns Ammunition Knowledge Types of Ammunition Malfunctions How to Correct a Handgun Malfunction Marksmanship Fundamentals Shooting Stances Carrying Concealed Safety Issues Presentation Techniques Handgun Maintenance Handgun Storage Transportation Laws Factors in Selecting a Handgun Shooting Drills Situational Awareness Response after a deadly force shooting Range Safety Live fire qualifications will take place after the 8-hour course The course is $100.00 per person with the option to rent a handgun and purchase ammunition.
