Description

Ever find yourself wandering through the woods in the winter and wondering to yourself, “What tree is that?” Join Beech Bluff County Park staff to learn how to recognize trees using their bark and buds. During this program will focus on a few common species found at the park - and maybe your backyard - to help you build your winter tree identification skills. This program will take place outside on park trails. Dress appropriately and wear comfortable shoes. No prior tree identification skills necessary.
