Learn the equipment, strokes and safety for paddling a kayak from an ACA kayaking instructor. Equipment provided. Ages 12 and up; under 18 with an adult. $20 per person. To register by phone instead, call 630-933-7248.

Use the main entrance on the south side of Butterfield Road. Park on the east side of the lot, and meet at the boat-rental building. (Click the link to open a map.)

Kayaks (300-pound capacity), paddles, and personal flotation devices are provided. Dress to get wet, and bring water, sunscreen, bug spray, extra shoes, and a towel.
