In this hands-on, 6-day theater tech intensive, students will dive into the exciting world behind the scenes. Throughout the week, participants will explore the fundamentals of lighting design and programming, sound design and programming, and the essential role of stage management. Students will learn proper stage terminology, practice calling cues, and gain an introduction to working safely with a fly system. The week will culminate in a real-life experience working on Stage Kids’ production of Finding Nemo KIDS, giving students the opportunity to apply their skills in an active performance environment.
