Description

Choosing a career direction isn't always straightforward. Many people find themselves pursuing opportunities based on what they've done before, what others expect of them, or what they believe they're qualified to do, without fully exploring what they enjoy, where they excel, or what they want from their professional lives.
This interactive, three-part workshop helps participants take a more intentional approach to career planning. Through guided self-discovery, practical exercises, and career research, participants will explore their strengths, interests, values, and transferable skills to identify career paths that align with who they are and where they want to go.
Rather than focusing solely on finding a job, this course encourages participants to look beyond job titles, recognize opportunities they may not have considered, and make more informed career decisions.
Course OutlineSession 1: Discover Your Professional Identity
Participants will explore their interests, strengths, experiences, personal values, and work preferences. Through guided reflection and interactive exercises, they will begin identifying what motivates them, what they do well, and what matters most in their future careers.
Session 2: Explore Career Possibilities
Participants will learn how to connect their strengths and transferable skills to potential career paths. They will explore occupations, examine job descriptions, research career requirements, and identify opportunities that may align with their personal and professional goals.
Session 3: Create Your Career Roadmap
Participants will evaluate potential career directions and identify realistic next steps. They will develop an individualized action plan that may include additional education, skill development, networking, career research, or practical experience to help them move toward their goals.
Who Should Attend?This workshop is ideal for high school and college students, individuals preparing to enter the workforce, early-career professionals, career changers, and anyone questioning their current career direction. No prior work experience or résumé is required.

• Career Goal Worksheet
• Personal Career Roadmap (developed during the workshop)

By the end of the course, participants will have a clearer understanding of their professional identity, two or three potential career directions to explore, and a personalized action plan outlining practical next steps toward their future.
