Special Olympics Floorball is a fast-paced team sport that combines elements of hockey and teamwork. Athletes use lightweight plastic sticks to pass, control and shoot a wiffle ball while working together to score goals. The Special Olympics version is adapted to promote participation and skill development, featuring 5-on-5 play with goalkeepers on a smaller court. Floorball emphasizes teamwork, communication, sportsmanship and fitness while providing athletes of all ability levels with an exciting and competitive experience.
