About Beth Bathe:A former graphic designer, Beth Bathe is a plein air oil painter who has garnered acclaim throughout the United States for her representational paintings described by critics as evoking nostalgia. She uses Cobra Water Mixable Oil Colors in thin washes with a limited tonalist palette, using unconventional tools such as squeegees and Q-tips along with her brushes. Her paintings have won numerous awards and honors, and she has been a featured artist in Plein Air Magazine.
