Join architect and furniture maker Mira Nakashima as she discusses the legacy of her father, master craftsman George Nakashima. She will share the history of the Nakashima Woodworkers Complex, including photographs of her father and his work throughout his industrious career.She will also discuss Nakashima’s unique milling process, their woodworkers located in New Hope and in Japan, and their Peace Altar project, a mission to construct Peace Altars for each of the world’s continents.
