Let’s bake, create, and celebrate the love this Valentine’s Day!
This parent–child Valentine’s workshop features a light, fluffy strawberry sponge cake roll — a beautiful and delicious treat to celebrate the holiday. Participants will work together to prepare the sponge cake, whip the strawberry cream filling, and carefully roll and assemble the cake.To make sure everyone can enjoy a piece at home, we will prepare two cake rolls during the session. While one is assembled for tasting during the workshop, the second will be portioned so each family can take home a portion.
What to Expect:• Preparing a classic sponge cake from scratch• Making a fresh strawberry cream filling• Learning the technique of rolling a sponge without breaking it• Hands-on parent–child teamwork throughout the entire process• Enjoying a slice of the cake together at WAC at the end of the workshop• Taking home a beautifully prepared portion of the second cake roll
