Join fiber artist and instructor Erin Ehlert-Maddocks of The Wood and Wool Shop for a fun and creative needle felting class! In this hands-on workshop, students will learn the basics of needle felting while creating an adorable raccoon from wool fibers. Along the way, participants will explore shaping techniques, wool layering, and how to add details that bring their raccoon's personality to life.This class is designed for ages 12 and older and will run approximately 3 hours. It is suitable for beginners as well as those with some felting experience. Students will leave with new skills, increased confidence in needle felting, and a completed raccoon project. If additional time is needed, projects can easily be finished at home.
Class includes all wool materials and one felting needle. Students may bring their own felting needles if they prefer. Additional replacement needles will be available for purchase for $2 each if needed.
Needle felting kits, wool, and other felting supplies will also be available for purchase after class for those interested in continuing their felting journey at home.
