Description

In this fun, hands-on bread-baking class, participants will learn (or refresh their knowledge of) the basics of bread-making, including techniques for measuring, proofing, mixing, kneading, and baking a variety of popular and traditional yeast and quick breads from different places and cultures. They will make the following breads and will also get to take some home with them to share and enjoy later: On the menu: Wisconsin Cheddar & Garlic Pull-Apart Rolls; Cowboy Butter-Swim Biscuits; Honeyed-Buttermilk Cornbread Muffins; Parāoa Parai (Maori frybread from New Zealand); and tasty Popcorn Bread with Salted Buttered Crust.
