Baylor TIP Camp for 4th-7th graders is a day camp option. Morning course offerings will run from 9am to noon, and afternoon courses run from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Lunch is included only with registration for BOTH morning and afternoon courses. Logic & Lies: A Mathematical Mystery Step into the shoes of a detective in this hands-on, mystery-packed math adventure! Over the course of five days, students will investigate a high-stakes “perfect crime” at the Academy of Mathematical Sciences. Using logic, probability, deduction, and problem-solving, they will gather clues, test alibis, and eliminate impossibilities to discover the true culprit, location, and object. Every decision is driven by mathematical reasoning—guessing won’t get you far! Students will collaborate in teams, debate strategies, and present airtight solutions in a courtroom-style finale. By the end of the week, participants will see firsthand how math can uncover the truth in even the most puzzling scenarios.
