About this event
This is the registration for attending the advanced Spectrum Sizzle 2026: SMART Hub's first annual advanced undergraduate spectrum workshop! During this NSF-sponsored workshop, you'll be introduced to and taught by invited experts across the wide field of spectrum management and wireless engineering. Each covered topic will have hands-on experiences with industry-standard tools and equipment, so you can apply what you learn right away. Topics include: * Spectrum Policy, Proceedings, and Rule-making * Passive Systems, Spectrum Analysis, and Frequency Allocations * Communication Systems, Modulation, and Coexistence * Wireless Circuits, Design, and Fabrication * Radar Systems, Theory, and Data Processing The content of this workshop will build upon what you learned in the previous Spectrum Sizzle workshop you attended or what you have learned in your class courses. The goal for this workshop is to provide participants with a greater depth of technical knowledge that can be used to jump-start their career with an internship or job in a spectrum-related field.
