Description
Join former Garden Manager Keith Tomlinson, who helped shape Meadowlark’s landscape over an impressive 24-year career, for a special guided tour highlighting the garden’s standout specimen plants from 10am to noon, on Saturday, May 23, 2026. With decades of hands-on experience and deep knowledge of what thrives in our region, Keith will lead guests to some of Meadowlark’s most striking and well-established trees, shrubs, and perennials.
Along the way, you’ll learn what makes a plant a true “specimen,” how these plants are used to create structure and visual impact in the landscape, and—most importantly—how you can incorporate similar selections into your own home garden. From unique forms and textures to seasonal standouts, this tour offers both inspiration and practical takeaways for gardeners of all levels.
