Meet us at the intersection of medicine and engineering! In this introduction to biomedical engineering, we'll explore how engineering transforms healthcare. From designing prosthetics, to modelling our body's electrical systems, to investigating the brain and what makes us move - every week is an adventure into exciting biomedical concepts. Join this club if you're interested in medicine, biology, biomedical engineering, or the human body! Please note that this is not an intensive or for-credit course, but a fun, educational environment for your high schooler to explore introductory biomedical engineering. All levels of ability are welcome! Fall clubs begin Saturdays, September 19th and run until December 5th. There will be no club session October 10th (Thanksgiving weekend) or November 7th (Remembrance Day and UBC Reading Break).
