Contemporary Art PracticesWant to push the boundaries of your artistic practice? This three-week visual arts intensive is designed for artists ages 15-19 interested in a challenge and ready to experiment with their art-making. In a supportive studio environment, you’ll work with leading Vancouver artists, curators, and educators, exploring a range of contemporary art practices. Run jointly with the Contemporary Art Gallery, this full-scholarship program introduces you to new approaches in the visual arts through a series of artist workshops. Students also view works of art, and engage in critiques and discussions about how to develop ideas and work with new materials.
