Join us for BIG SPLASH, a fun and interactive OC1/V1 clinic focused on two essential small boat skills: huli recovery and flying the ama. Whether you're new to OC1/V1 paddling or have years of experience, this clinic is a great opportunity to build confidence, improve safety skills, learn from experienced paddlers, and have some fun with the community. Led by Coach Josh, we'll cover: Proper huli recovery techniques Flying the ama fundamentals Leash use and safety considerations Challenges & Prizes 🏆 Fastest Recovery 🏆 Longest Ama Flight 🏆 Most Unusual Recovery Why Attend? Every OC1 and V1 paddler should practice huli recovery regularly. BIG SPLASH is the perfect opportunity to complete your annual recovery practice in a supportive group setting while learning tips and tricks from fellow paddlers. Boat Transport Volunteers Needed We'll be hosting the clinic at Dog Beach and will need a few volunteers to paddle club boats over from FCRCC before the event. Volunteers who assist with boat transport will receive the clinic free of charge.
