"Little Dunkers" offers boys and girls a basketball activity that emphasizes fun, friends, participation and learning. Tulare Youth Center gymnasium is adapted for our program by the addition of 8-foot baskets and numerous skill stations. Team coaches introduce games and skills that reinforce the learning of dribbling, passing, shooting and rebounding. Scrimmage games help acquaint the children with placement of offensive and defensive players and position responsibilities.
No scores are kept so everyone is a winner! Teamwork, self-esteem and having fun are the primary goals.
PLEASE NOTE All participants will receive a Little Dunkers t-shirt. Shirt size availability is not guaranteed. Shirts can be picked up starting December 20th at Meitzenheimer Community Center, 830 S. Blackstone St. We will NOT be making calls regarding registrations or teams so be sure to show up on the date/time for which you registered.
PLEASE READ: Please print receipt to get all program information. You will not receive any phone calls from a coach regarding this program. All participants will receive a Little Dunkers t-shirt and medal. Shirt size availability is not guaranteed. Shirts can be picked up starting December 20th at Meitzenheimer Community Center, 830 S. Blackstone St. Please dress your child in athletic attire and tennis shoes. We will NOT be making calls regarding registrations or teams so be sure to show up on the date/time for which you registered.
