Join us this winter with Pima County for a creative exploration of the Sonoran Desert. Through nature journaling, observation and art, we'll discover how winter transforms the world around us-- changing colors and seasonal flora and fauna to the subtle (or not so subtle) effects of lights, temperature, and shorter days. We will focus on the shortest days in the Sonoran Desert. Sunrise and sunset times change all the color to the desert landscapes. No artistic experience necessary. Bring your curiosity, sense of wonder and willingness to slow down and look closely at the natural world.
