The AMC8 is on Thursday January 21st from 6:00 PM – 6:40 PM (ET) at the University of Toronto - St. George campus. The exact contest location will be emailed to registrants 1 week prior to the contest. Check in starts at 5:30pm. Please arrive no later than 5:45pm. Each year the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) runs the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC). There are three levels of the competition offered each year, the AMC8 and the AMC10/12 A and B. Students may not register for more than one grade level between AMC8, AMC10 and AMC12. The AMC 8 is open to any student in grade 8 or below. Since the registration fees are less than our $50 refund administration fee, refunds will NOT be provided for math contest registrations. Before you register, please confirm with your child's school that they are not already offering this contest. Many schools coordinate contest registrations internally, and students only need to be registered through one organization.
