Ready to step behind the scenes where stories come to life? Behind the Curtain is a unique summer camp where young artists explore the exciting world of stage design, from developing creative concepts and building models to selecting materials and constructing props with wood, fabric, and paint. Campers will learn set painting techniques and design elements and collaborate as a team to design and create cohesive models for a hypothetical theatrical production. They will also explore the technical side of theater and learn to set cues on our light board and run sound on our audio board. By week’s end, participants will gain hands-on skills, creative confidence, and the unforgettable experience of seeing their ideas transformed into theater magic.
