About this event

Description

Join us for a free, two-part educational series designed to help older adults stay safe from modern scams - especially those using AI and new tech.
The seminar covers:
• Awareness: Learn how to recognize common scams, understand why older adults are often targeted, and test your knowledge about today's increasingly sophisticated fraud tactics.
• Prevention: Discover practical tools to respond safely, learn how to determine where links and ads are taking you, learn how to report scams and financial crimes, and build the confidence to protect yourself.
• Best Practices: learn how to use passwords, biometrics and authentication tools to keep your data safe.
Financial crimes against older adults can be devastating, often leaving victims with no way to recoup their losses. These scams are costly, widespread, and increasingly high-tech. Empower yourself with the knowledge to stay one step ahead.
