We offer state-approved CNA recertification testing at our Adult Education Center. Seating is limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. The $200 fee (including this $25 non-refundable deposit) must be paid at least one week in advance to secure your spot. Cancellations within 48 hours of your exam date will result in an additional $25 rescheduling fee. * IMPORTANT: Please Note * Before testing, you must apply and be listed as “pending reinstatement” on the Maine CNA Registry. The exam includes a 100-question written test and a 5-skill demonstration with an RN instructor. A study guide is available upon request. Process Summary: Step 1 - Apply for CNA reinstatement on the Maine State Registry website and await confirmation from the state Step 2 - Register here and pay the scheduling deposit Step 3 - RSU 24 will contact you to confirm your test date Step 4 - Pay RSU 24 the remaining $175 at least one week prior to the exam date. If the exam fee is not paid one week prior to the exam date, we reserve the right to reschedule you to a future exam date. Step 5 - Show up at 2:00pm on your test date and take the CNA recertification exam! Step 6 - Wait for the state to grade your exam and then CELEBRATE!!!
