Multimedia Visual Arts Artists will explore an extensive selection of media and subject matter to enhance techniques practiced in 2D and 3D art-making. In the YPI Multimedia Visual Artists class you will: • Create from observation and self-exploration • Develop a thematic series for auditions and college portfolio requirements • Experiment with media and techniques including: • sequential art development, printmaking, book design • graphite drawing, charcoal, chalk & oil pastel rendering • acrylic painting, pen & ink drawing, watercolor • clay hand-building & throwing, plaster, recycled resource materials
