Join us for Able In the City: Art for All, a 10-week community integration adventure designed to build confidence, independence, and friendships while exploring everything St. Pete has to offer!Each week, we’ll start our day with a hands-on art project to beautify the community while exploring a variety of different mediums. Guided by Coach Annie, everyone will have the opportunity to develop new artistic skills, express their unique ideas, and celebrate the creative process - no prior art experience required! (Some projects will span multiple weeks. If participants are not present for each week with the same morning activity, they may not have a chance to finish that project.)In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy lunch together at local restaurants, then head out for a variety of engaging community activities—whether it’s volunteering, visiting local attractions, or experiencing new fun around the city.This program combines all the goals of Therapeutic Recreation: fitness, community involvement, social connection, and skill-building, all in one exciting package!
