The 2026 MATE ROV Competition culminates in the annual World Championship event where top teams from across the globe will descend on St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada and deploy their custom robots to meet our mission challenge. RANGER, PIONEER and EXPLORER class teams must register here to submit a video demonstration for qualification. Regional competition teams will be invited to register only after winning their qualifier event. The team is registered for the event by the Coach or Administrator who pays the fee for team participation during this registration process. No refunds allowed. Please contact the Registrar for Purchase Order or EFT options. Note that Adults team members (18+) must register themselves to approve the participation waivers. Only one Coach and one Additional Mentor are allowed to register per team. Students may be then be registered by the Coach, Additional Mentor, or a Parent/Guardian to join the team.
